This painting was drawn from my field experience and reference photos I made while in Bermuda working on the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo's new exhibitry a few years ago. I love the wonderful blue-green colors of the ocean around this island country. I was tasked with making some detailed dioramas for the museum and needed first-hand experience in the field. Artists that do this kind of work often are allowed a privileged glimpse into areas of a country that would normally be inaccessible.
