Last spring I followed this band of brothers roaming the hills in beautiful Penticton BC Canada. The leader was followed by quite a harem of young females. The light of the day gave his horn a golden look, and with the black marking from the corner of his eye, and his strong kingly stance, he reminded me of an Egyptian Pharaoh. I therefore was inspired to name this painting, 'Pharaoh.'
