I love returning to the Pencil Museum in Keswick, in the Lake District to run free artworks and to give free art demonstrations. The scenery is magnificent and the Pencil Museum is fiilled to the brim with art products to try! I will be teaching animal life drawing and we have the perfect little dog as a model….so please contact the Pencil Museum to check dates and book your place!

I love spending time working as Artist in Residence at the truly magical Derwent Pencil Museum in the Lake District (UK); running free interactive art demonstrations and teaching an art workshop. Visitors to the Pencil Museum come from all over the world and it is not unusual to find visitors from far afield sitting at the art tables! Its all good fun and of course being a fan of Derwent products it is a great chance to show visitors what can be achieved in their artwork. The Pencil Museum is an amazing place to spend time in.....and Keswick is so, so...

Working as a Travel Artist is both challenging and exciting; carrying camera equipment, a sketch book and other art materials and then finding somewhere to draw and paint when the moment is right! This photograph on deck with the wonderful island of Capri in the background is extraordinary and is an example of a fleeting perfect moment of light, atmosphere and landscape. VISITING GJESVAERTAPPEN NATURE RESERVE IN NORWAY SURROUNDED BY THOUSANDS OF PUFFINS...SUMMER 2015 I can hardly say the name of this astoundingly beautiful nature reserve in the arctic circle off the coast of Norway...and I could have spent many hours sailing around this island on the small fishing boat we travelled out on. Unable to land on this protected bird sanctuary we were escorted alongside the cliffs by some of the 50,000 puffins that arrive each year, as they flapped frantically just above the choppy water, seemingly dodging waves. Overhead white tailed eagles soared...
