Gracefully carved out of Silver-Green Soapstone from the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The base is of beautiful and rare Quilted Maple grown in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada. (Notice the iridescent woodgrain that goes in two directions.)

"I sat on a Vancouver Island, Canada west coast beach watching the sun set. Huge waves were crashing into shore. The sun shone through the waves, turning them dark green. Suddenly, I saw the exquisite graceful shadow of a seal surfing within one of those waves. The seal looked as if it was flying."
