The Artist

"I was always inspired by nature and its wonderful inhabitants.  Every critter has a personality that comes out so loud and clear at times and I try to capture them realistically but I can never fill a full sheet in watercolour as I feel that the subject needs space to be, to breathe.   I like to select wild animals that are endangered or at risk as I feel that by doing this, my collective work in the future could stand on its own and be used to educate the people who will see it. I was always inspired by nature and its wonderful inhabitants.

In some cases I will select subjects that are closer to home or for which I can reuse as prints or cards which I will use to help organizations with their fundraising campaigns.  I try to support the local wildlife shelters and/or sanctuaries in my region as much as possible.

I am new to the art world but I hope to capture as much of nature as I can before the end, life is short, I want to absorb as much of it as permitted.
