Conservation

"As a wildlife artist I feel it is important work to continue bringing awareness to the public of how sacred our lands and wildlife are to our own existence. "

As a wildlife artist I am constantly intrigued by the nature of things.  I study their expression of freedom, sense of survival and habitats.  My paintings evolve through my everyday lifestyle and exploring the beauty that surrounds me in B.C.'s Cariboo region.  Through the Artists for Conservation Foundation I would like to help bring awareness to the public of how sacred our lands and wildlife are to our own existence.

Over the years I have contributed art work donations to several non-profit organizations such as:  Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge Society to help raise funds for shelter, food and veterinarian costs, as a member/volunteer of Ducks Unlimited an annual painting donation to a local chapter to raise funds for our local wetlands, and the local SPCA annual contributionhelps rescue and care for abandoned animals.  I have the privilege of helping with our local bird sighting to record unusual species in the Cariboo region.
