When serving as Artist in Residence in the Everglades, I had this frog visit me nightly.  It would cling to my window.  I was unsure if it was attracted to the lights inside, or if the lights inside attracted insects which then attracted my little nightly buddy.  In either case I made some sketches and this painting is the result of that experience.  I even had thought up the title before I created the painting.
