Each year the Friends of Laguna Atascosa and the USFWS in Brownsville, Texas hold a fundraising festival to support their ocelot conservation projects. They are maintaining the habitat these beautiful, elusive animals still have in south Texas, documenting populations, and creating underpasses below highways for access between areas used by ocelots, since highway deaths account for a large number of ocelots killed each year. This year the festival is virtual because of Covid, and I have given this painting to be auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to the cause.
