Very recently I started loosening my brush work. The reason for that was that I wanted to experiment with a minimalist approach to painting with watercolours. While loosening up the general style I still focus on the eyes and the animal's character.
The result are very artistic and intriguing portraits of endangered animals such as the African Wild Dog depicted in "Family Member".
While painting this portrait, I learned more about these magnificent animals and their incredibly intresting social structures. The remaining fascination obviously influenced the title heavily.
The colours might vary slightly due to different lighting.
The painting is sold UNFRAMED and will be packed securely in an enforced envelope.
