This painting came to be from a photo I took while we were on a family rafting trip on the Salt River in Arizona years ago.  The company that took us rafting were bringing us back from the end of the rafting ride on a truck.  The truck stopped at the crossing of this beautiful creek.  We got out of the truck and walked over to the creek and looking down into the water, this is what I saw.  It was a special moment for me because I had never seen water on a river/creek this clear and I was astonished by the reflections on the rocks from the ripples of the water surface!

“Ondas del Riachuelo”

Esta pintura llego a ser de una foto que tome durante un viaje familiar en balsa en el Rió Salt en Arizona hace años.  La compañía que nos llevo en el viaje de balsa nos llevaba de regreso del final del viaje de balsa en una camioneta.  La camioneta se detuvo antes de cruzar este hermoso riachuelo.  Nos bajamos de la camioneta y caminamos hacia el arroyo y al ver el agua directamente abajo, esto es lo que vi.  Fue un momento especial para mi porque ¡nunca había visto agua en un arroyo/rió así de clara y estaba asombrada con las reflexiones en las rocas de las ondas de la superficie del agua!
