Dodge is honoured to be one of the members of Artists for Conservation who's art has been selected by independent jury to exhibit in  the first ever annual "The Art of Conservation - An International Exhibition of Nature in Art".  Dodge will have two pastel paintings on display this September at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum in New Jersey, one of the world's leading museums for nature and wildlife art.  "On Solid Rock We Stand" is a painting of seven Himalayan  Snow Pigeons inspired by her recent trip to the Himalayas of Northern India. Kelly Dodge is honoured to be the recipient of the Artists for Conservation Foundations monthly conservation award. The AFC's Conservation Artist Award is awarded monthly to honour an AFC member for outstanding artistic talent and extraordinary contribution to the conservation cause. At the end of each year, a past recipient of the monthly honour then has the opportunity to be considered for the annual Simon Combes Conservation Award.

Oak Hammock Marsh, Man. Kelly Dodge of Lakefield, Ont., has  once again joined some of Canada's foremost nature artists by donating her artwork to help Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) raise much-needed dollars for wetland conservation in 2009.   Dodge has been selected to join DUC's National Art Portfolio (NAP) program for her painting, Southern Migration. Each year, hundreds of artists submit their artwork in hope of being chosen for the NAP. World renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman - Canadian Artist, Environmentalist and Naturalist extended a personal invitation to Kelly Dodge to attend a 5 day master artist seminar he was giving on Cortes Island, B.C. Kelly is honoured to be the "Featured Artist of the Year" at the Peterborough Ducks Unlimited Chapter 25th Silver Anniversary Celebration.  Kelly Dodge's orginal pastel painting, "Virgo Setting" will be auctioned off to raise funds for wetland conservation. Dodge's original pastel starscape, "The Northern Cross" is the honoured recipient of the 2007 People's Choice Award for the Lindsay Public Gallery's Annual Juried Art Show. Dodge's painting depicts the constellation Cygnus (the Swan) which more closely resembling the Christian Cross than a swan, is also known as The Northern Cross. This celestial bird flies down the Milky Way, its wings outstretched and its neck pointing south. Dodge's pastel painting "Blessed Revelry" has been selected for inclusion in Art of the Animal Kingdom XII at the Bennington Center for the Arts. The Bennington Center for the Arts is located in beautiful Bennington, Vermont.
