The Boynes Emerging Artist Award is an international online art competition that is geared towards emerging artists from all over the world. Our goal is to use our platform to promote talented artists across the globe.

The Art of Conservation - International Exhibit of Nature in Art is one of the world's premier nature-inspired art exhibits.
The purpose of the exhibition is three-fold; i) To support conservation through fundraising and education; ii) To showcase the extraoridary pool of artistic talent in the AFC; and iii) to expose the nature art genre to new audiences.
The show companion book is a true coffee-table book - 10-1/4" square, 238 pages, hardbound, and printed in full-colour on FSC-certified stock.

The annual Northern Beaches Art Prize (formerly Warringah Art Prize) began in 1955. Since then, it has become the Northern Beaches’ most prestigious art competition.
First runner up - AGRA Australian Artists Online for "Lionel on Black"
3rd Place - 2015 AGRA Australian Artists Online for "Hear Me Purr"
Australian Guild of Realist Artists runs an online competition, the Australian Artists on-Line (AAOL), open to full AGRA members across Australia. AGRA members are invited to submit images of their work for seasonal AAL events. The winner, first runner-up and second runner-up are also invited to exhibit in the Australian Art Excellence Awards each year.

2016 Finalist - ENDANGERED Art and Photography Contest
This global, juried, online art contest focuses attention on the plight of endangered and threatened species and habitats. The challenge is to interpret Endangered through either a celebration of the beauty of endangered or threatened species/habitats or an illustration of the threats faced.
Solo Art Series -Light, Space and Time #4 Exhibition
Light Space and Time Online Gallery announced their fourth "Solo Art Sereis" Online Art Competition.
The gallery jugded the top 12 artists who had the most complete "Body of Work" to show. From that group of 12 artists the gallery then awards 4 monthly Solo art exhibtions.
The gallery invites online submissions of 2D and 3D art (including photography) from artists around the world for possible selection as one of the Gallery's 4 Solo Art Exhibtions. The gallery encourages artists regardless of where they reside to submit thier best representational and non-representational art.
Finalist - 2016 Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize
One of Australia’s richest and most prestigious art competitions the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize attracts close to 1000 entries from national and international artists. The art prize was named after Frederick George Waterhouse, one of the most eminent naturalists of his day and curator of the South Australian museum from 1860 to 1882. The purpose of the exhibition is to “promote and recognize excellence in art that depicts natural history or wildlife.”
I feel so honoured to have my scrathboard piece "Nocturnal Treasure" selected for this outstanding exhibtion.

Venkat Award of Excellence - ISSA 5th Annual International Exhibition of Scratchboard Art 2016
Showcasing the best examples of scratchboard art in the world the 2016 annual juried show was held at the Ironwood Gallery, Arizona Desert Museum in Tucosn, Arizona, USA.
Geraldine was awarded the Venkat Award of Excellence for her piece entitled Hear Me Purr. The Venkat Award of Excellence is a sponsored award by Venkateswaran K. Krishnan.

The Richeson75 competitions offer a venue in which established and emerging artists may show their latest, best work to a wide and appreciative audience. The 75 finalists for each regular contest will exhibit their work in the beautiful Richeson Gallery and in the online exhibit. The Richeson75 online competitions also reach a wide audience with online exhibits of the 75 finalists' work. All Richeson competitions are capped off with a publication of a colectable, limited-edition, full-colour, hardcover exhibit book. Finalist - 2016 and 2014 Kenneth Jack Drawing Prize
Kenneth Jack was on the founding committee of AGRA and later became a patron. After Kenneth’s passing in 2006 AGRA wanted to honour him and recognise the importance he placed on drawing and so AGRA created the Kenneth Jack Memorial Drawing Award in 2007.

High Achievement Award - AGRA Animals in Art
1st Place- 2014 Light, Space and Time 4th Annual Nature Exhibition
The gallery’s competition for October was the 4th Annual “Nature” Online Art Competition. International 2D and 3D artists (including photography) were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s November 2014 online group art exhibition.
Artists were asked for their interpretation of the “Nature” theme by depicting the physical world and is considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man. Subjects that would encompass the “Nature” theme would include geographical subjects, natural objects, wildlife and natural environments.More info...
