Australian Guild of Realist Artists runs an online competition, the Australian Artists on-Line (AAOL), open to full AGRA members across Australia. AGRA members are invited to submit images of their work for seasonal AAL events. The winner, first runner-up and second runner-up are also invited to exhibit in the Australian Art Excellence Awards each year.
Finalist - 2017 ISSA 6th Annual Exhibition
The International Society of Scratachboard Artists normally holds its annual exhibtion in prestigious galleries in North America only this year's exhibtion was held at the Stump Hill Gallery, McLaren Vale in South Australia.
Solo Art Series -Light, Space and Time #4 Exhibition
Light Space and Time Online Gallery announced their fourth "Solo Art Sereis" Online Art Competition. The top 4 entries were featured during the month of September, October, November and December 2016.
Finalist - 2016 Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize
One of Australia’s richest and most prestigious art competitions the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize attracts close to 1000 entries from national and international artists. The art prize was named after Frederick George Waterhouse, one of the most eminent naturalists of his day and curator of the South Australian museum from 1860 to 1882. The purpose of the exhibition is to “promote and recognize excellence in art that depicts natural history or wildlife.”
Venkat Award of Excellence - ISSA 5th Annual International Exhibition of Scratchboard Art 2016
Showcasing the best examples of scratchboard art in the world the 2016 annual juried show was held at the Ironwood Gallery, Arizona Desert Museum in Tucosn, Arizona, USA.
Finalist - 2016 Kenneth Jack Drawing Prize
Australian Guild Realist Artists Kenneth Jack Drawing Prize - how it came about : Kenneth Jack was on the founding committee of AGRA and later became the Patron. After Kenneth’s passing in 2006 AGRA wanted to honour him and the importance he put on drawing so created the AGRA Kenneth Jack Drawing Prize commencing in 2007.
Finalist - Golden Turtle 9th International Wildlife Art Exhibition, Moscow
The Golden Turtle festival is an official world wide event being the largest international eco-educational project, bringing photographers, designers and artists celebrating the beauty of wildlife. The festival is unrivalled in the world as one of the most significant environmental and educational activities of Russia conducted within the framework of the UN Decade of biodiversity conservation.
Special Mention - Warringah Art Prize
The Warringah Art Prize is the Northern Beaches' most prestigious art competition, offering over $24,000 in prize value.
With 578 artwork entries only 165 artworks were selected. The exhibition was held at Creative Space, North Curl Curl, NSW, Australia.

1st Place- 2014 Light, Space and Time 4th Annual Nature Exhibition
The gallery’s competition for October was the 4th Annual “Nature” Online Art Competition. International 2D and 3D artists (including photography) were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s November 2014 online group art exhibition.
