The Golden Eagle is the most widely distributed of the world’s large eagle species and is found across multiple countries in the northern hemisphere including Canada. It is Ontario’s largest bird of prey. This magnificent eagle and its habitat are protected by the Endangered Species Act. Golden Eagles play an important role in the traditions and cultures of Aboriginal people of Canada and can be found in remote areas of Northern Ontario. “My art is defined by nature including land, water and wildlife. I have a deep respect for nature and the wildlife that lives within. Conservation awareness through artistic expression is my gift to nature.”
