The Killdeer chooses the most hazardous locations for its nest, I received a call from a friend to tell me of a killdeer that had laid its eggs in the middle of his field. I rushed to the location to capture hopefully both mother and eggs, but she was quite upset with my presence and tried her hardest to lure me away and keep her precious eggs safe. Patience paid off and she returned, making for some wonderful subject matter seen here.
