Many years ago, at the Shalenska Tuzla ,in northeastern Bulgaria, I watched a White-tailed Eagle attacking a large flock of Eurasian Coot. For a long time, with great affection, I watched the eagle. The black birds panicked on the water that churned under their feet and then they flew before landing again as a moving dark cloud. When the eagle directly attacked, the birds dove underwater. No matter how beautiful this was in my eyes, I realize that it is a struggle for survival, and we are all subject to the laws of nature.
