For a rural Albertan, Mule deer are a common sight in farming areas. It can at times be a challenge as a farmer to balance the needs of domestic livestock and wildlife that also live on the same land. I love to see farms that still maintain a good balance of trees and wetlands that are a haven for the wildlife that is so abundant in our farming areas. I feel blessed to see sights like this where wildlife thrives and coexists so beautifully.
