Visiting Vancouver this past year for my grandson’s hockey tournament, I was surprised to visit a wonderful park containing totem poles. Stanley Park was a delight to visit and the totem poles at Brockton Point were colorful and intriguing to view with the mountains in the background. No matter where I went in Vancouver there were ravens and crows somewhere in the city. Lo and behold while visiting Brocton’s totem poles a raven landed on one of the arms of one and continued to squawk up a storm. Protesting loudly he continued to crow about something or was he talking to the totem pole?
